Our TNSCTP team competes in all three shotgun shooting sports disciplines.
- Trap Shooting
- Skeet Shooting
- Sporting Clays
Although each sport is similar in that a clay pigeon is thrown through the air and shot with a shotgun, each has different challenges, rules and require varying skills.
Trap and Skeet are shot from fixed stations and the target trajectory is the same on every regulation range. This encourages a style habitually followed at each station.
Sporting Clays has been referred to as ‘golf with a shotgun’ and the typical course is designed to replicate the different shooting experiences encountered in the field for an almost infinite variety of target presentations.
All are a game of skill, using hand-to-eye co-ordination to hit moving targets flying at approximately 75 miles per hour.
Our SPP team competes in handgun shooting sport similar to Steel Challenge.
